Three Men in a Boat
|
|
– To say nothing of the Dog! (1889) Comic account of a disaster-prone journey in a rowing boat up the Thames from Kingston, and the only work which keeps alive the name of its author, the humorist and playwright Jerome K. Jerome (1859–1927). The three are the narrator, George and Harris; the dog (a speaking part) is Montmorency; and the author's unused middle name is Klapka.
