Annual show-jumping competition held over several days in June or July, first staged at Olympia in 1907. It was subsequently held at White City (1945–67) and at Wembley (1968–82), since when it has moved between several locations round the country. The two main contests are the King George V Gold Cup for men (competed for since 1911) and the Queen Elizabeth II Cup for women (since 1949).
