Robert III
|
|
(c.1337–1406) King of Scotland from 1390, son of Robert II and Elizabeth Mure. Two years before his accession he was severely crippled by a kick from a horse, so he was of necessity an ineffectual king in a very physical age. He married Annabella Drummond and was succeeded by his third son, James I (see the *royal house of Scotland).
