Euston Road School
|
|
Group of artists, led by William Coldstream (1908–87), Victor Pasmore (b. 1908) and Claude Rogers (1907–79), and named from the art school which they founded in London's Euston Road in 1937. Rejecting the two extremes of academicism and modernism, they favoured naturalistic studies of life and landscape.
