The Brains Trust
|
|
(BBC 1941–9) The most highbrow of discussion programmes, on which a regular panel of Julian *Huxley, Professor C.E.M. Joad and Commander A.B. Campbell were joined each Tuesday evening by two other conversationalists. The talk was prompted by questions, of an extraordinarily wide range, and for its first 18 months the name of the programme was Any Questions. In 1954–5 there was a version of The Brains Trust on BBC television; of the original trio only Julian Huxley took part.
