Jack Beresford
|
|
(1899–1977) Oarsman with the exceptional Olympic record of competing in five successive games and winning a medal in each – successively a silver in the single sculls (1920), a gold in the single sculls (1924), a silver in the eights (1928), a gold in the coxless fours (1932) and a gold in the double sculls (1936). In modern times Steve *Redgrave has a chance of equalling Beresford's total.
