Brighton Run

Annual rally for veteran cars (strictly those built before the end of 1904) from Hyde Park in London to the promenade in Brighton, held usually on the first Sunday in November. It commemorates the Emancipation Run by motorists betweeen the two towns on 14 November 1896, the day on which the legal restrictions of the *Red Flag Act came to an end.
